Wrappily is an answer to the millions of pounds of trash generated by wrapping paper every year while proving that "Eco-Friendly" doesn't have to mean brown and green are the only colors in your palette. We're proud to be sustainable without sacrificing style.
Here are a few ways we do our part to make a positive impact on Planet Earth because there is #NoPlanetB:
Eco-Friendly Materials
We hold ourselves accountable for the lifecycle of our products, and that responsibility does not end at the point of sale. We choose to use newsprint because its:
- 100% Compostable
- 100% Recyclable
- 100% Plastic-Free
- Certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI)
Sustainable Packaging
We're mindful of how our business choices affect the planet and are continually sourcing the most earth-conscious packaging materials available, like:
- Plastic-free, plant-based PLA packaging
- Recycled paper gift tags
- Flat sheets that eliminate the unnecessary cardboard tube
- Recycled Kraft paper shipping envelopes
Short Supply Chain
To further reduce our carbon footprint, our wrap is milled, printed, and packaged in Washington. Swapping conventional wrapping paper for Wrappily equates to an impactful preservation of resources, saving (per 10,000 packs):
- 8,750 transportation miles
- 397 gallons of gas
- 3886 pounds of coal
Supporting a Diverse Local Economy
While we strive to be better environmentalists, we also impact the people in our community by:
- Finding new uses for existing local resources, like the printing press.
- Hiring and promoting independent artists to design new products.
- Partnering with other women-owned small businesses and creators.
