Catalina Villegas
Catalina is a Colombian-American artist and illustrator who creates magical worlds filled with fauna, flora, and lots of colors. She studied Fine Arts at Florida International University in Miami and is a MATS A & B (Make Art That Sells with Lilla Rogers) alumni. She made the top 50 semi-finalist shortlist in the 2015 Global Talent Search with Lilla Rogers. Aside from spending her hours in her home studio illustrating, Catalina plays bass and is currently part of a heavy metal band called Golden Box. She loves chai lattes, chihuahuas, and reading. Catalina currently lives with her husband in La Ceja (a small town 50 minutes away from Medellin), Colombia. Her illustrations are licensed on a variety of products. She works with clients across the globe and has been published in UPPERCASE Magazine, WeTransfer.com, the London Illustration Fair, among others.
